This is the future.

Welcome to the future! These are a few pictures that I’ve taken recently (sorry for the quality, it was with a camera phone) that I feel show that the future has finally arrived. It’s really here, I promise. Click on any of the pictures for the big version.

I call this “Public Access Denied!” I tried to take a picture of this on the TV one night but it disappeared before I could, fortunately, it was back again the next night!

This was on the front of some board game at Toys ‘R Us. It is a WWII era soldier with a robotic arm. Also, he is holding a samuri sword. Why this isn’t a video game yet, no one knows.

This is my favorite. This is from the front of some catalog. We are now in the age where you can get a free DVD player with your purchase of toilet paper. We truly live in the greatest of times. Hooray for us!

Unintentional comedy

Just a quick note here. I was just directed (<3) to this site. Oh boy. This is pretty amazing. It’s made by a nice old man and is supposed to be inspirational and reassuring. And I’m sure it is to a lot of people. But also, it is one of the funnier things I’ve seen in a while. Thank you, Larry Van Pelt, you made me smile.

Yep. That’s a real sign from Assumption College. As far as I’ve seen, that’s the only parking spot for black commuters. I guess they have a one a year limit. Click it for the full size.
